Flag Ceremony Held in Shopian by Senior CPIM Leader M.Y. Tarigami Ahead of First Conference and Kisaan Mela on 16th July by All Farmers federation of India

Shopian, 15 July:  In anticipation of the highly awaited First Conference and Kisaan Mela scheduled for 16th July by the All farmers federation of India, a flag ceremony was conducted at Shopian today. The ceremony was presided over by the  senior leader of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), M.Y. Tarigami. The event took place at the venue chosen for the forthcoming conference and mela in the Shopian district.

The Kisaan Mela, centered around the fruit that Shopian is renowned for – apples, has garnered significant attention, attracting delegates from various states across the country. The event is expected to serve as a platform for farmers and stakeholders in the apple industry to exchange knowledge, discuss challenges, and explore opportunities for growth and development.

With the presence of delegates from multiple states, the conference aims to foster dialogue and cooperation amongst apple farmers and industry professionals.
