Encounter Erupts in Bandipora Forests
Bandipora, Nov 5: An encounter broke out on Tuesday evening between terrorists and security forces in the Ketsun forest area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district. Acting on specific intelligence, a joint team of security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the region.
A senior police official reported that as security forces approached the suspected hideout, they came under fire from the terrorists, which led to a retaliatory exchange. Initial reports indicate that two to three terrorists may be trapped in the area.
