“Divisional Commissioner Welcomes First Batch of Hajj Pilgrims Back in Srinagar After Successful Journey”

Srinagar,18 July: Today, the Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) of Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, welcomed the first batch of 316 Hajj Pilgrims at Srinagar International Airport upon their return from Saudi Arabia. The Div Com was accompanied by several officials, including DIG Central Kashmir, Sujit Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Akshay Labroo, SSP Budgam Al-Tahir Gillani, ADDC Dr Akramullah Tak, Executive Officer of J&K Hajj Committee, Dr Shujaat Ahmad Qureshi, and other Hajj authorities.

Upon their arrival, the Div Com warmly welcomed and greeted the pilgrims, congratulating them on performing the Hajj and successfully completing their holy journey. During his interaction with the pilgrims, the Div Com inquired about the arrangements made for their smooth and peaceful pilgrimage experience.

He also assessed the arrangements for the comfortable arrival of the pilgrims and instructed the concerned authorities to ensure a hassle-free movement of the pilgrims to their respective destinations.

On this occasion, the pilgrims expressed their gratitude to the Honorable LG Administration for the elaborate arrangements made to facilitate a smooth pilgrimage experience.
