DDC polls: Scuffle between two independent candidates leaves eight injured during campaign rally at Kokernag

Anantnag 09 ,December: The scuffle between two independent candidates during a campaign rally left at least 8 party workers injured in the Kokernag village area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag District.
According to sources the independent party workers fought with each other during a campaign in Tangward village of Kokernag area leaving eight party workers injured.
Sources said that there was a mild clash between the two independent party workers at Tangward village during the afternoon hours of Wednesday. The reason behind the tussle was not immediately known sources said.
However, BMO kokernag Gowhar Ahmad said that at least persons were injured during a scuffle in the said village, and their treatment is underway at kokernag PHC Hospital.
Meanwhile Arising state tried to contact the concerned police official but he didn’t pick up the call.
