DC Anantnag orders fire audit of all healthcare facilities
Retrofitting to be taken up for filling gaps identified in previous audits: Dr Singla
ANANTNAG, MARCH 05: In the aftermath of fire incident that took place at Bone & Joint Hospital, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr Piyush Singla today ordered that fire audits be conducted in all healthcare facilities across district Anantnag. Necessary directions have been issued to concerned officials in this regard.
Dr Singla impressed upon the officers to ensure that any gaps previously identified during fire audits must be immediately rectified through retro fitting.
Dr Singla reiterated that use of LPG cylinders within premises of healthcare facilities is banned. He said all healthcare facilities have been equipped with central heating systems and the officials should ensure that LPG heating devices are not utilized for heating.
