Better Arrangements in Place for Republic Day Celebrations: Div Com Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 21: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, VK Bidhuri, Tuesday said that enhanced arrangements are in place for this year’s Republic Day celebrations, aiming to surpass last year’s standards.

Speaking to reporters, he highlighted the improved seating arrangements, high-quality LED screens, and refreshments for attendees.

Bidhuri said that the administration has taken into account the enthusiasm witnessed during previous events and has worked to create a more comfortable experience for participants. “We have made better arrangements compared to last year. This time, the seating and LED screens are of top quality, and refreshment facilities have been arranged,” he said.

With the winter season in mind, special attention is being given to ensure the comfort of attendees, especially those arriving early in the morning. “We are keeping an eye on the weather conditions and assisting people accordingly,” he added.

Addressing concerns about access to the event, Bidhuri clarified that no passes are required for entry. “The event is absolutely free for everyone. There are no restrictions, and I encourage all to come and be a part of the celebrations,” he stated.
