Class 10th results: 3 Anantnag Govt schools get Zero percent result

Anantnag: Not a single student of these three government schools in Anantnag District could qualify the Matric exams conducted last year 2021,Nov.

According to official sources, in Government High School Wantrag Mattan only 9 candidates appeared in class 10th exams. However, not a single student has passed in the class 10th this year, the Government High school Kandiwara zone Bidder Kokernag- where 19 candidates appeared in class 10th exam. Again not a single student  passed here and in Government High school Poru Kalnag also saw the same fate as none of the students  passed in the class 10th. The government school watnard Mattan has witnessed 0% pass percentage last year also, when 23 students appeared in the examination, and not a single student could pass even after 50% syllabus relaxation given by the authorities on account of  COVID-19 lockdown.

In these three government high schools in District Anantnag, not a single student has passed in class 10th after the results of the said class were declared yesterday afternoon in the Kashmir division.

Talking to the Arising state, Chief Education Officer Anantnag Mohd Sharief said that it is very unfortunate that these government schools got zero percent result in class 10th exam, there was an adequate teaching staff in these school except the Poru Kalnag high school which is on high altitude. Added that they took action against the staff members of these schools, and have placed their staff under suspension, the reason for poor results of the school are being ascertained and the remedial measures shall be initiated in order to improve the academic performance of the school,the order reads.

Meanwhile ,Anantnag District have witnessed this year with 77.72 percent pass percentage.
