Centre Government  All-Party Meeting Ended

Opposition parties were briefed regarding steps taken by govt

New Delhi, April 24: The All parties meeting convened by central government  in view of the Pahalgam terror attack in Pahalgam and measures taken by government was beifed to leaders of opposition parties.
The meeting was attended by home minister Amit Shah, defence minister Raj Nath singh, leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi, congress president And Other senior leaders.The meeting  took place at the Parliament House complex and started around 6 in the evening. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh  briefed leaders of various political parties about the attack.He also updated them on the steps taken against Pakistan following the incident.After the all-party meeting, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju says, “The meeting went very well, and in fact, all the political leaders unanimously supported the action taken by the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) with regard to Pakistan. The Government made it clear in the meeting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Government will have zero tolerance towards terrorist activities in our country and all the leaders expressed their solidarity with the Government for all the actions being taken by the Government and all the actions to be taken in the future.After attending the all-party meeting convened by the central government, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge says, “All parties condemned the Pahalgam Terrorist Attack. We said that efforts should be made to maintain peace.” According to the reports the LOP in parliament said, “Everyone condemned the PahalgamTerror Attack. Opposition has given full support to the government to take any action: Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi*”.
