Budgam Police arrests another notorious Drug Peddler; huge consignment of Psychotropic substance recovered

Budgam, May 28th: Continuing its efforts against drug peddlers and its propagators, Budgam Police during the intervening night of 27/28 May 2021, busted underground hideout of drugs in the house premises of Zubair Ahmad Mir S/o Bashir Ahmad Mir and Sarjeel Mir S/o Jalaludin Mir both residents of Galwanpora Mazhama. The recovered drugs from hideout include:
10, 128 capsules of controlled drug Spasmo proxyvon

Earlier during the intervening night of 27/28-05-2021, a Naka was established near Mazhama railway crossing by the Police party of Police Station Magam; a person roaming in suspicious circumstances was signalled to stop but he tried to flee from the spot, he was tactfully overpowered and after his personal search officers present were able to recover 04 Codeine Phosphate bottles and 144 capsules of Spasmo proxyvon and cash Rs 12,900/- from his possession. His identity was ascertained as Muzafar Ahmad Dar S/O Ab. Rehman Dar R/o Kanihama Magam. He was arrested and contraband substances were seized. Regarding the incident, Case FIR Number 104/2021 under relevant sections of NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Magam and investigation was initiated.
More arrests are expected in the instant case.
