BJP Leader Shot Dead , lady injured

Unknown gunmen on Wednesday evening shot dead a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader  in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Reports said that unknown gunmen fired upon Rakesh Pandit S/o Brij Nath Pandit of Tral Bala  injuring him critically. He was shifted to  a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. One lady has also reportedly received bullet in leg in the incident. She has been shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile,the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
