BJP activist shot in central Kashmir
Suspected militants on Sunday fired upon a BJP activist in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
He has been identified as Abdul Hamid Najar (38) son of Jamal Najar resident of Moheindpora.
Sources said that he was on a morning walk when militants fired upon him.
Najar has received bullet injuries in the abdomen and has been shifted to SMHS hospital for the treatment, an official said.
Meanwhile, soon after the attack, the area was cordoned of to nab the attackers the official said.
