Bat Factory gutted in overnight fire

Bijbehara: A bat manufacturing factory was badly damaged during an overnight fire in Bijehbhera area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district. The bat factory where fire incident took place is at Hussanpora village of Bijbehara. Eyewitness told that bat factory was gutted in the fire incident. Fire tenders rushed to spot and controlled fire from spreading to other buildings. The owner of the factory Muhammad Ramzan while confirmed the fire incident and said that timber and bats manufactured were damaged in the incident. He added that property worth lakhs was destroyed in the incident. Police have already registered a case and started the investigation into matter.
