Awantipora Police solved theft case within 24 hours, stolen property recovered
Awantipora: Jammu and Kashmir Police in Awantipora area solved theft case within twenty four hours and recovered stolen property on Saturday.
As per press release, On 18 June, Police Station Khrew received a complaint from one Adil Rashid Bhat S/O Abdul Rashid Bhat resident of Khrew, complaining therein that one lady (name withheld) who was working as maidservant in his house decamped with Gold ornaments and some other household items.
“Accordingly, a case 45/2021 under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Khrew and investigation was also taken up.”
The press release reads that: “During investigation, Police team of Police Station Khrew arrested the alleged accused from Lalpora, Kunzar area of North Kashmir and on the disclosure of accused the stolen property get recovered.”
“Further another accused person namely Sajad Ahmad Mir S/o Bashir Ahmed Mir R/o Bhatpora, kanihama who was accomplice of above accused person also get arrested during investigation of case.”
The stolen items i.e Golden Ring= 01 No, Golden Bangle= 01 No, Golden Necklace=01 No, some other garments etc get recovered.
Police said that general Public is advised to get character and antecedent verification of individual from concern Police Station before engaging them in any private job.
