Awantipora Police distributes COVID-19 containment safety kits among families living below poverty line in Tral

Awantipora 14 Dec: Continuing its efforts to reach out to the needy people, Awantipora police distributed COVID-19 safety kits among poor and needy families of the Tral area in the third phase.

As per a police press release, in phase Ist 232 COVID-19 containment kits were distributed at Police Station Khrew and Pampore, in phase 2nd 117 Covid-19 Kits were distributed at Police station Awantipora and in phase 3rd 117 Covid-19 kits were today distributed at Police Station Tral till date 466 Covid-19 containment kits were distributed by Police District Awantipora under Civil Action Programme of Jammu and Kashmir Police.

During distribution function held at police station Tral, SHO Tral Shri Ghulam Mohammad Rather distributed Covid-19 containment kit, “with each kit consists of 01 steam vaporizer, 02 face shield, 100 surgical masks, 01 Oximeter, 01 digital thermometer, 01 sanitizer bottle (500 ml) , 01 Box hand gloves, 01 handwash, and other essential items for Covid control among the poor and needy families falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Tral.”

On the occasion, SHO Tral said that there is a need for sensitizing the society of its responsibilities towards COVID-19 particularly the needy and poor families.
