Awantipora: Global People’s Foundation organises free medical camp

Awantipora: Global People’s Foundation (NGO) Saturday organised a free medical camp in Noorpora area of Awantipora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The camp was attended by a large number of people from different areas, keeping in view the sop/ guidelines of Covid19.
A free medical health check-up was conducted for the subjects, while free medicines worth ‘fifty thousand rupees’ were also provided to them.
On the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Awantipora, Zaffar Shawl was the chief guest, who appreciated the moderators for organising this camp, and shared valuable information among the participants.
Shah Junaid, Chairman, Global People’s Foundation has said that the motive to organise the camp was to serve people amid the Covid-19 threat.
He said , “today’s medical camp was totally free with medicines worth forty to fifty thousand distributed among the participants throughout the camp.”
Shah thanked doctors for their contribution in organizing the medical camp and assured them that similar camps will be held soon in far-off areas as well.
