Ashraya Hastha trust & Indian army set-up health unit along LoC

Kupwara: Ashraya Hastha trust along with 2 other NGOs Mantra4change and Suriya foundation in collaboration with Indian army setup a health care facility which caters to close to 30000 people along LoC in Kupwara.

As per press release, the villages are remote and people had to travel a minimum of 4 hours to access the nearest Hospital.

“Through this initiative of the NGOs, it aims to save a lot of lives in catering to emergencies of pregnant women and wounded civilians due to cross border firing,” reads press release.

The set up includes an emergency operation theatre, Beds with monitors, medicines and other critical life saving equipments.
