Article 35A hearing not in cause list,lawyers body :JRL withdraws the strike on 14 feb

Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) has withdrawn today’s strike call after the lawyers informed them that Article 35 A is not listed for hearing before the Supreme Court on Thursday, a statement said.

The JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik said the strike call against hearing of 35 A case in apex court on 14th February has been withdrawn after the lawyers conveyed to them that the petition is not listed in the cause list.

The Kashmir bar association led by senior lawyers Mian Qayoom, Zafar Shah, Zaffar Qureshi, Mohd Ashraf and others are in New Delhi defending the case at the Supreme Court on behalf of the people of  J&K, said  JRL.

JRL said the senior lawyers of Bar will be present at the Supreme Court for the entire day (Thursday) and will closely monitor the developments and update the JRL about it.
