Army holds ‘Chai Pe Charcha’ in Kupwara’s Nowgam village

Kupwara, Oct 13 : Army on Wednesday held a “Chai Pe Charcha” with the locals and the youth of Nowgam village of Mawer in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
As per a statement in its efforts to stay connected with the locals and youth of the village, an Indian Army patrol had “Chai Pe Charcha” with the locals.
“Warmly welcomed by the locals with the quintessential ‘Kashmiri Kahwah’, the interaction centered around the prevailing situation in the valley,” it reads.
The statement reads that deeply hurt by the recent targeting of the minorities, their inclination towards peace has never been so profound in the recent years.
