Aishmuqam incident on Dec 23 claims another victim, bringing the death toll to four

Anantnag, Dec 31 : According to officials here on Saturday, another person who was injured in Aishmuqam, Anantnag district, succumbed to his injuries after 9 days in hospital.

The man was injured on December 23 after a mentally unbalanced person went on a rampage in the area of Aishmuqam.

After 9 days, he succumbed to his injuries at the Srinagar hospital, according to reports.

The victim has been identified as Mohammad Sultan Saka son of Mohammad Yousuf of Aishmuqam.

Notably, 3 persons were killed and 6 injured in the incident on December 23.
