Aga Ruhullah Vows to Fight for Students, Demands Rationalized Quota
Addressing a gathering outside the Chief Minister’s residence, Ruhullah stressed the need for a non-discriminatory reservation policy in alignment with the Supreme Court’s rulings or population-based criteria.
“I have assured the students that their grievances are genuine and that I will do everything possible to ensure justice is served,” Ruhullah said. “I promised to protest in their favor, and today, we are here to fight for them. We will continue raising our voices on every platform until favorable outcomes are achieved. While the government has formed a cabinet sub-committee, I am not satisfied with it. My satisfaction lies in the students being satisfied.”
He further clarified that his protest was not intended to create division within his party but to ensure justice. “I don’t want chaos, and I am not here to divide my party. I will knock on every door to seek justice. But if anyone tries to create chaos in J&K, I will also take to the streets to oppose them,” he asserted.
Ruhullah also expressed gratitude to leaders from the PDP, including MLA Pulwama Waheed Parra, Iltija Mufti, and the Awami Ittehad Party (AIP), for their support in the cause.
The protest has amplified calls for a fair and transparent reservation policy, with Ruhullah and other leaders vowing to continue their fight for justice.
