Aalmi Tahreek e Urdu frame

Jammu:In order to promote Urdu languages and Ganges-Yumna Culture of India in the world, International Urdu Movement under the name “Aalmi Tahreek-e-Urdu” has been constituted with representation of members of various countries  around the globe.On its official Facebook page  of Aalmi Tahreek e Urdu and Youtube Channel, Aalmi Urdu TV, the Executive Committee of the organisation has been announced. Farooq Muztar of Rajouri-J&K has been elected as Chief Patron, Ahmad Nizami of London- United Kingdom as Patron, Zakir Malik Bhallesi of Chenab region –J&K as President, Dr Imtiaz Zargar of Chenab region – J&K as Senior Vice President, Aftab Manhas of Pir Panjal region as Vice President, Mohammad Omer Farhat of Rajouri as General Secretary, Parvez Hanfi of England as Chief Advisor, Pandit Madhav Noor of Dubai- UAE as Chief Coordinator, Sardar Ali of Toronto-Canada  as Chief Spokesman, Tehmina Rao of Sydney-Australia as Coordinator, Dr Mohammad Zakir Shaheen of Pir Panjal  area as Secretary, Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Wani of Jammu as Advisor, Jaan Mohammad of Reasi –J&K as Publicity Secretary and Chander Kant Gafil as Joint Secretary.

A Central Advisory Committee has also been framed which included Khurshid Bismil of Thanamandi as Chairman and Akhtar Qazi of Kishtwar-J&K as Member. The other members of the Central Advisory Committee will be announced within few days. Renowned Journalist Rehmatullah Rounyal of Ramban – J&K has been elected as Chairman of Urdu Media Desk while renowned blogger and you tuber Dr Murtaza Ali Malik of Doda – J&K  has been elected as Chairman of Social Media Desk.

The General Secretary of the organisation Mohammad Omer Farhat has issued a video announcing the Executive Committee of the organisation. He said that the organisation has been framed at International level after consultation with internationally acclaimed Urdu writers, poets, authors, journalists and artists and the body was constituted after threadbare discussion.

About the motive of the organisation, General Secretary said that Urdu is fast growing language in the world and it is now spoken in major countries. “We will build a bridge to connect all Urdu lovers and create an awareness about the importance of this language”, he said adding that the organisation will promote Urdu language at global level. He said that various more prominent personalities will soon be associated with the organisation.He has appealed all Urdu lovers around the globe to join hands with them in the movement and play their role in promotion of this link language.  He said that Urdu is most secular language in the world and it is why being loved by one and all. He added that Aalmi Tahreek e Urdu has issued its slogan “Sirf Zuban Nahi, Tehzeeb Bhi”. The logo of the organisation was also released.
