Two ICDS employee’s terminated in Anantnag Kulgam found absent from duty

Anantnag: Two ICDS employees were terminated in Anantnag and Kulgam after they were found absent from duty for several months.
According to official sources, an Anganwadi worker was terminated after being found absent from duty for the last two years in South Kashmir’ Anantnag District.
Sources said that the worker namely Aamina Yaqoob posted at Khoveripora Mattan Anantnag has been found absent from duty for the last two years after she tied the knot with Doda kashtiwar man in September 2018.
Sources said that after marriage the worker went to Doda Kashtiwar with her husband .
Amina had applied for three months’ leave before marriage but unfortunately, after three months she failed to join the duty. Official Sources said.
However another ICDS worker namely Samreena Hamid resident of Frisal Kulgam was also found absent from duty for the last three months following the termination of her service.
A copy of the termination order is lying with the Arising state office in which the officials mentioned in the order that the Anganwardi worker was terminated for being continuously absent from duties for more than three months without any information or leave. Reportedly she is presently residing in Pathankot Punjab with her husband, accordingly, a termination order as per rules was issued in her favor.
Meanwhile, talking to Arising state CDPO Ashmuqam Anantnag saleema khan said that they have terminated her from service after she was found continuously absent from duty for the last two years, before terminating her, we issued her several notices about the absence of duty but she didn’t reply. She also said that we have stopped her salary from last year after she failed to reply to our notices. CDPO said.
CDPO Homshalibug Kulgam while talking to the Arising state said that we have terminated the said ICDS worker after being found absent continuously for the last three months, she also said that we have issued her several notices about the absence of duty but she failed to reply, she said.
