IIM Jammu, Accenture launch industry-oriented eBBA (Hons.) programme
Jammu: The Indian Institute of Management Jammu hosted a press briefing on 7th May 2026 at the Vedanta MDP Block, IIM Jammu, to unveil its transformative Joint eBBA (Hons.) Degree Programme, developed in collaboration with Accenture Centre of Advanced Studies (ACOAS) under TalentSprint, part of Accenture LearnVantage. The four-year, full-time online undergraduate programme has been thoughtfully designed to bridge the gap between academic excellence and evolving industry expectations by seamlessly integrating management education with emerging technological competencies.The press conference was presided over by Prof. B. S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu. The four-year undergraduate program blends core management education with specialized, market-relevant areas such as Cloud, Data, AI, Digital Infrastructure, and AI Business Applications- combining academic depth with experiential, problem-based learning. TalentSprint through the Accenture Centre of Advanced Studies, will also contribute to curriculum development, applied projects and learning pathways aligned with the needs of enterprises today.
The course equips students to understand how technology, data and AI shape strategy, scale and transformation across modern organizations. It will include generative AI and agentic AI workshops – along with introduction to data analytics, agentic AI and its applications, and more.
Students benefit from structured career development support including professional skills training, interview readiness and placement assistance, supporting a smoother transition from education to employment.

A key strength of the programme lies in its deep industry integration, with nearly 60 percent of the curriculum delivered by IIM Jammu faculty and the remaining 40 percent by experienced industry practitioners through the Accenture Centre of Advanced Studies (ACoAS), ensuring a strong blend of conceptual rigor and real-world application. The programme places a strong emphasis on technology-driven business readiness, equipping students to understand how technology, data, and AI shape strategy, scalability, and transformation across modern organizations. It incorporates exposure to emerging areas such as generative AI, agentic AI, and data analytics through workshops and applied learning modules, enabling students to build a forward-looking, innovation-oriented mindset.
The programme is further distinguished by its strong focus on career readiness and employability. It embeds certifications, live industry projects, structured apprenticeships, and comprehensive career development support, including professional skills training, interview preparation, and placement assistance. Admissions to the programme will be conducted in accordance with the Government of India’s reservation policies. Candidates may apply through valid scores of JIPMAT, SAT, JEE (Mains), or CUET (General Aptitude Test),or through the eBBA Admission Test conducted by IIM Jammu. The selection process will also consider academic performance in Classes 10 and 12. He noted that the Joint eBBA (Hons.)
