Aga Ruhullah Urges Central Government to Grant Age Relaxation for JKPSI Aspirants
Mehdi highlighted that thousands of aspirants have been rendered ineligible due to exceeding the upper age limit, a consequence of prolonged delays in the recruitment process. He pointed out that these delays have deprived many qualified individuals of their opportunity to serve in the police force, despite their dedication and readiness.
The MP expressed concern about the broader impact on the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, many of whom have become disillusioned and uncertain about their futures due to the situation. He emphasized that providing a one-time age relaxation would not only be a fair solution but also help restore trust in the recruitment system.
Mehdi made a direct appeal to the central government and the Home Minister, requesting them to intervene and consider the unique challenges faced by the youth in Jammu and Kashmir. He called for immediate action to resolve the issue and ensure that deserving candidates are given a chance to serve in the police force.
