45 year old man crushed to death by CRPF vehicle in Ashmuqam Anantnag

Anantnag: A 45 year old man was crushed to death by a CRPF vehicle here in Ashmuqam area of south kashmir’s Anantnag District on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Bilal Ahmad peer (45) resident of Latroo Ashmuqam.

The accident took place when the CRPF vehicle hit the motor cyclist near the old police station at Ashmuqam Anantnag.

The victim reportedly died on the spot. On getting information, A police official confirmed the incident.

However the locals have protested in the area and demands to investigate and stern action against the CRPF driver and removal of the barricades near the old police station which has added lot of inconvenience and is proving death trap for the commuters, they said

Meanwhile police have lodged an FIR and starts investigation
