“Road Safety” rallies held at Awantipora, Tral, Pampore
Awantipora 19 Jan: In an ongoing “National Road Safety Month- 18 Jan to 17 Feb 2021” Awantipora Police today held road rallies at Pampore, Awantipora and Tral to sanitize genral public and road users about road safety measures in which SDPO Awantipora , SDPO Pampore and SDPO Tral along with respective SHOs participated.
In Tral, a rally was taken out from Bus stand Tral to Abgar Tral in which school children, members of citizen council of Tral, drivers etc. participated.
In Pampore, the rally started from Police Station Pampore to Tanchbagh in which school children, drivers, members of transport Union Pampore, Youth of Pampore etc participated.
Similarly in Awantipora, the rally started from Police Station Awantipora which crossed different areas of Awantipora and concluded at Kharmood Awantipora in which student of different Institutions, respectable citizens of Awantipora area including members of Transport Union Awantipora participated.
Participants in rallies were holding banners and placards in their hands depicting the road safety tips/rules for the awareness of the general public and to save precious lives from traffic road deaths.
