75th Republic Day Celebrated By Chak Keegam Army Camp
Kupwara, Jan 26: The 75th Republic Day was celebrated with great patriotic zeal and fervour by Chak Keegam Army Camp under the aegis of Charkut Garrison at Govt Middle School Chak Keegam.
Celebrations started by hoisting of the National Flag by Sarpanch Keegam, followed by singing of the National Anthem.
Cultural performances, including singing and dancing on patriotic
songs and local folk dances were presented by the students of various schools from Keegam and Shadipura.
This celebration in the remote village of Kashmir reinforces the trust in the constitution of our country. It also gave a sense of pride and togetherness on this pious occasion.
The celebration was attended by around 250 locals who felt invigorated. At the end, the event culminated with distribution of gifts as a token of felicitation to the participants. The locals conveyed their deepest gratitude for organising the event (Press Release).
