4 JKAS officers retained in J&K, as many others deputed to Ladakh by orders of LG
Srinagar, April 8 : The Government on Tuesday retained four officers of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service, under orders of deputation to the Union Territory of Ladakh, at their present place of postings in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to an order, issued “By Order of the Lieutenant Governor”, the services of as many other officers have been placed at the disposal of the Union territory of Ladakh, on deputation basis, with immediate effect.
Those retained, In partial modification of Government Order No. 306_JK(GAD) of 2025 dated 27.02.2025, include Rakesh Dubey, JKAS, Joint Registrar, Cooperatives (Banking and Finance), J&K; Abdul Qyume, JKAS, Deputy Secretary to the Government, Housing and Urban Development
Department; Mir Dawar Habib, Jr. Scale JKAS, BDO, Naidkhai and Bhushan Kumar Thathri, Doda.
The officers whose services have been kept at the disposal of UT of Ladakh include Shafiq Ahmad, IKAS, project Officer, Wage Employment (ACD), Poonch; Jahangeer Akhone, JKAS, Tehsildar, Khansahib and Rajat Sudan, Junior Scale JKAS, BDO, Moungri and Akeel Sajjad, Junior Scale JKAS, BDO, Changa.
As per the order, the deputation of the officers shall be for a period of two years or till they are recalled. Further the lien and promotion prospects of the officers shall remain with General Administration Department, J&K and they shall be entitled to avail incentives as may be made available in due course of time by the UT of Ladakh. Also, they shall be deemed to have been relieved with immediate effect with the directions to report to the General Administration Department, Union territory of Ladakh, for further posting, the order added.
