District Admin Srinagar bids warm farewell to MD KPDCL, Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary
SRINAGAR NOVEMBER 01:- The District Administration Srinagar on Wednesday organized an impressive function at Meeting Hall of DC Office Complex, here to honour and bid warm farewell to Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary, IAS, previously the Managing Director(MD) of Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited(KPDCL), who has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Ramban District.
Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad presided over the farewell function, while Chief Engineer, Power Development Department, Kashmir, Javaid Yousuf Dar, Additional District Development Commissioner, Zahoor Ahmad Mir, Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Syed Syed Ahmad Kataria, Chief Planning Officer, Srinagar, Mohammad Yaseen Lone, besides Superintending Engineers/Executive Engineers of PDD and other senior Officers of District Administration were present in the farewell function.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar lauded Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary for his work as Managing Director(MD) of Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited(KPDCL), as Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama and Kargil districts respectively.
He extended best wishes for his future endeavours. He appreciated the efforts of the former MD KPDCL for the milestones that organization has achieved under his able guidance.
The DC also underscored the important role of the officer in accomplishment of many projects like Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) and installation of smart meters.
All other Officers present at the function also extended their best wishes to the IAS Officer for his new assignment as Deputy Commissioner Ramban.
On the occasion, outgoing MD KPDCL, Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary thanked the District Administration Srinagar for organising an impressive farewell function in his honour.
He also thanked the Officers for their active support and cooperation during his tenure and lauded the efforts of the District Administration under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Srinagar.
