28 year old PDD Causual labourer dies of electrocution in Wantrag, Anantnag

Anantnag: A Power Development Department (PDD) casual employee was electrocuted during repairing of a transmission line here in south Kashmir district of Anantnag, official sources said  on Wednesday.

They said a group of PDD employees were repairing power transmission line at Gulistan Mohallah wantrag area in Mattan of Anantnag District. One of the employee identified as Shabir Ahmad Khan son of Iqbal Ahmad Khan resident of Checki Ishardas of Wantrag Anantnag was critically injured when he got in contact with a live wire. Khan was immediately rushed to GMC hospital Anantnag where he was declared brought dead.

Police have registered a case and started investigation.
