28- year old man dies after allegedly taking injection from a chemist shop at Anantnag, family lodged FIR

Anantnag: A  28 year old man dies after taking an injection from a chemist shop here at janglatmandi area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag District on friday evening.

A fruit vendor by profession with throat irritation died on friday evening after   taking an injection by a chemist here at Janglatmandi Anantnag.

The deceased has been identified as Irfan Ahmad Bhat son of Gh Nabi Bhat resident of Deva colony Anantnag.

According to his family members who held a press conference at the residence at Deva colony Anantnag said that the irfan Ahmad had been struggling with a throat irritation on friday evening and he went to a medical shop at Janglatmandi Anantnag after the throat irritation persisted, the owner of the medical shop has gave him a high dose injection without a test dose and in the meantime he fell unconscious. The same medical chemist brought
him to GMC Anantnag where doctors declared him brought dead.

Irfan is survived  by his mother, wife, daughter and a mentally unsound sister.

According to his family members they have lodged an FIR in police station Janglatmandi. The family members demands an investigation from the administration besides took strict action against the chemist shop owner for selling drugs without prescription they said.
