YOGASANA SPORTS CHAMPIONSHIP 2023-2024 CONCLUDES

Srinagar, 24 Oct: The 4th J&K UT Yogasana Sports Championship 2023-2024 organized by Jammu And Kashmir Sports Council in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Yogasana sports Association concluded here at Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Stadium Srinagar on 23-10-2023 the Championship was held in sub-junior, Junior and Senior both in Boys- Girls and men-Women categories.

More than 300 participants from 18 districts of Jammu and Kashmir UT participated in different events of the championship, while the championship was witnessed by large number of Spectators from all over Jammu and Kashmir UT with great enthusiasm.

Dr Raqib Rassol Parrey General secretary of Jammu and kashmir Yogasana Sports Association and Organized Secretary Basit wani along with other office bearers of the Jammu kashmir yogasana sports Association conducted the 4th J&K Yogasana Sports Championship 2023-2024 with great success.

The Chief Guest Mrs Nuzhat Gul Secretary Jammu Kashmir Sports Council gave away the prizes to the position holders of the championship.

She said that Yogasana Sports is a proper way for physical and mental health, while she encouraged the Yogasana Athletes for showcasing their talent in the UT championship.

Guest of honours, Mr. Sheikh Riyaz Ahmad, Administrative officer Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, Mr Shabir Ahmad Dar, Senior Yoga Coach J&K Sports Council, Dr Imran, Mr. Hilal Ahmad, Manager SKISC, Mr. Mohammad Altaf Bhat Competition Manager, Mr. Adil Khan were also present.

Miss Toiba Nazir of Srinagar District and Mr. Bilal Ahmed Dar from Budgam District were declared best player of the championship in Male and Female Categories.

The Organizing secretary also thanks to j&k bank for their Support for the conduct of the championship . The championship was concluded on 23-10-2023 in a peaceful atmosphere.
