Woman sustains bullet injury during night hours in Darganie Gund Tral, investigation underway: Police
Tral, 17 April: A woman sustained a bullet injury during night hours in Darganie Gund area of Tral in South Kashmir, while the investigation into the case is underway, police said.
As per the official, “during night hours, a lady namely Shakeela Banu W/o Ghulam Nabi Lone (Age about 36 years) R/o Darganie Gund (Tral), sustained bullet injuries, following which her husband and in-laws kept the incident undisclosed and taken the said lady to a nearby hospital Aripal, then to SDH Tral but didn’t disclose to doctors regarding bullet injuries.”
In a statement, the official said that Doctors were informed by them of her suffering of abdominal pain/heart problem, where from she was referred to SMHS Srinagar- where the doctors diagnosed her of a fired bullet injured.”
He further said that “as soon as Police received the information, a team of Police from PP Aripal reached to the house of above injured lady, and during search of her house a fired bullet get recovered.”
“Police has registered a case FIR No. 25/2021 under relevant sections of law and Investigation taken up. Further investigation is continue and evidences are being gathered,” the official said.
