Winter Vacation Announced for Schools in Kashmir and Jammu’s Winter Zones

Srinagar, Dec 06 : The government has released the winter vacation schedule for all government and recognized private schools, up to the higher secondary level, in Kashmir Division and the winter zones of Jammu Division.

As per the official notification, winter vacations for primary classes (up to 5th grade) will commence from December 10, 2024, and continue until February 28, 2025. For classes 6th to 12th, the vacation will begin on December 16, 2024, and end on February 28, 2025.

Teachers from government high schools and higher secondary schools have been directed to report to their respective headquarters by February 10, 2025, to prepare for the upcoming board examinations for Classes 10, 11, and 12.

Additionally, educators have been instructed to remain available for online guidance during the vacation period. The government has warned of strict action against school heads or teaching staff failing to comply with these directives.
