Vehicular traffic on Srinagar- Jammu national highway disrupted again

Srinagar- Jammu National Highway (NH44) came to a sudden halt around 7 am today due to shooting stones at Panthial caused by the rainfall since wee hours today.

Immediately in a flash message Traffic Police halted the vehicles at Nagrota, Udhampur, Nashri, Chanderkot, and Quazigund.

According to reports trucks carrying essential commodities were scheduled to move from Jammu towards Srinagar in one-way traffic and no other LMV or HMV was to be allowed from any direction between Jammu and Srinagar.
