Valley is likely going to have a wet Eid ul-Fitr
This year the Eid UL-Fitr may be a rainy day, according to the MeT spokesman. The whole of Kashmir will experience a rainy day. The weather forecasters said rain and thunder might remain the same until Wednesday.If the Eid is going to happen on Wednesday, 5 June 2019 the Eid day will be a rainy day.
The Kashmir valley has been witnessing rains from last 20 hours and normal temperatures have also receded.
The MeT spokesman said that there are chances of light to moderate rain and thundershowers in the coming two days. “A fresh disturbance is marked over Jammu and Kashmir. In the wake of this, light rains with a few moderate spells are likely over the Jammu and Kashmir during the next 48 hours”, he said.
“Today there are more chances of widespread rains throughout the region,” he added.
From tomorrow onwards, there would be little improvement in the rain and thundershowers would also recede. In fact, the weather would become clear and temperatures might rise again, the MeT official said.
