Twin Kashmiri writers to release a book on Rasul Mir’s works

Srinagar, 21 November: Two young Kashmiri writers in Srinagar city of Jammu & Kashmir are all set to release a new book soon, on Rasul Mir’s works.
The duo namely Shahid Salam Khan and Bisma Ayoub are the emerging writers, who while talking to Arising State said,” they are excited to release this book, as they believe giving back to the society, you care, benefits not only the culture, and its art, but it helps to reach to a broader audience.”
As per the authors, the book will be released on the occasion of New Year, which will be based on the translation of Rasul Mir’s selected works in a different manner.
They said that their latest book will focus on the content of Rasul Mir’s work in such a manner that it will be one of its kind.
The translation will be available in two languages i.e. English (by Shahid Salam Khan) and Urdu (by Bisma Ayoub).
One of the authors has said, “their work will change the stigma about the similarities of the two poets Rasul Mir and John
Keats have a great deal common in them.
She said, “an angle of his work will be shown that has been coded in his works and a decode has been specific rather than broadened.”
“A proper and detailed research is on its way and relevant contacts are being traced to have a better understanding of Rasul Mir’s work in an authentic manner,” the author said.
Pertinently, Shahid Salam Khan holds a Masters in English Literature and is a well-known poet, while Bisma Ayoub has recently published an anthology under the title, “The Creative Minds” following which, she was appreciated by many sections of the people, particularly on social media.
