Tral,14 March: Village Welfare committee Chewa-Uller Tral on Sunday organised an event, in which 13 students were  given awards for their outstanding performance in class 10th and 12th JK BOSE examinations.

As per the members of the committee, the event was held with the motive to encourage all the meritorious students of the village, so that they may work harder in the future to achieve success.

They assured that all efficient students who cannot continue their education, due to financial problems, will be supported financially by the village Welfare committee, as the committee won’t want any student to leave his/her studies midway due to financial crunch.

In the event, around thirteen students, who recently passed the 12th and 10th classes with a high percentage, were given the award of appreciation by the Chairman village Welfare Committee, Chewa-uller, Mr. Mohammed Maqbool, and its other members in presence of senior citizens of the said village.

On the occasion, the villagers of Chewa-uller hailed the welfare committee for organizing this event and said that such kind of programme was held for the first time here.

They believed that it will help all the students to compete with other students of the UT and country.
