“Tral set for major facelift in 2024, 24 major road projects approved under PMGSY”

Srinagar, Nov 24: As Tral area of Pulwama district of South Kashmir is all set to witness a major facelift in 2024 as 24 roads have been sanctioned under Pradhan Mantri’s Grameen Sadak Yojna (PMGSY), senior BJP leader and party’s J&K spokesman termed the development as a huge relief for the people of Tral stating that it was due to the efforts of Prime Minister Narender Modi, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and LG Manoj Sinha that Tral was considered for massive road development.

In a statement issued here, Thakur said that for the first time Tral will witness construction of 24 big road projects in year 2023 that include Lam to Gujarsaran, Lurgam Dudkulan Road to Kulpaden, Gulshanpora to Saspadi, Hajin to Retinard, Wagad to Nagnard, Zeezbal to Pathiri, Satoora to Bangidaar Dragud, Naristan to Mujdajan, Satoora Hain Road Km 3rd to Wanitiwan Gurpal, Laam to Sionard Including 1xM Span Bridge and TralKaelil Road to Paribal.

Thakur said other road projects to be taken up under PMGSY in Tral in year 2024 include Noorpora Bungam to Sail Astanpora, Tral Mandoora road to RazZak Shah Mohalla, Karmulla to Bangipal, Karmulla to Baghandar, Paneer to Kaatward, Karmulla to Kharsi, Karmulla to Zupanard, Karmulla to Shutaulan, Origund to Zajikhor, Karmulla to Brenward and Nagbal Brenpathri to Chivpadin.

The BJP leader expressed his gratitude to PM Modi, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, LG Manoj Sinha besides the entire team of PMGSY officials stating that better roads depict the better living standards of people. Thakur said that it was a long pending demand of Tral to get the roads constructed properly so that their travel becomes easy.
