Tral, 8 Jan: The residents of Qayampora and Gousia Colony in Amirabad village of Tral sub district have been reeling under darkness for the past few days, leaving the people in a state of despair.
The aggrieved residents in Qayampora area have said that they have not seen electricity for a last few days, as the transformer of the area has developed technical snag disrupting the power supply in the area.
They said that their transformer is developing technical snag frequently, which clearly shows that it’s not sufficient to cater to the electricity needs of this area.
“The repeated damage of existing transformer not only compounds the problems of people but also causes hardships to students. In last fifteen days, our transformer blowed up twice. Single transformer is not sufficient to cater to 70 families,” residents said.
