State land illegally encroached by local hotelier ,authorities unmoved : Pahalgam

Anantnag,19 April: The state land in Movera area of Pahalgam has been illegally encroached by a hotelier which was already demolished by the Pahalgam Development Authority last week here in the Pahalgam area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag District.
According to sources, a hotelier in the Mavoora area of Pahalgam has illegally encroached state land, the encroached land was demolished by the PDA department last week, but unfortunately, the land was again encroached by the hotelier, sources said.
Sources said that the land has again been encroached, but this time the concerned authorities are acting as mute spectators, instead of taking any action.
Talking to Arising state residents of Movera Pahalgam said ,” this law is only for poor and needy people as these influenced people have encroached state land in broad daylight here in the Pahalgam area of Anantnag district, and the authorities are unmoved by this act.”
However talking to Arising state Tehsildar Salar Shakeel Ahmad said that we have also received the information about the encroached state land in the Mavoora area of Pahalgam, he said,’ due to the bad weather we didn’t move from offices. The official assured that within ten days we will demark the said land and action will be taken against the person who has illegally encroached the land, he said.
