SSP kulgam hosts PCPG meeting at town hall Qazigund under PS Qazigund

Hundreds of local people attended the meeting

Qazigund : As a part of public outreach programme, on Monday a Police Public Meeting was held at town hall Qazigund by Kulgam Police. SSP kulgam Dr G V Sundeep Chakravarthy-IPS among other police officers attended the meeting with public representatives and prominent respectables of Qazigund general area.

A warm welcome was given to SSP kulgam by the public of Qazigund. The meeting was also attended by SP National Highway Majid Malik, SDPO Qazigund, Tehsildar & SHO Qazigund also present.

Public from all corners of Qazigund including respectable citizens,DDC members, BDCs , members of PRIs, ward members of municipal committee Qazigund, Auqaf committees, chowkidars, traders federations and various market associations attended the public meeting.

During the interaction, participants raised various issues of public importance. SSP kulgam listened to the grievances patiently and thereafter assured them that their genuine grievances will be resolved on priority and every possible help will be provided to the people of the area and issues will be taken up with concerned departments for their early redressal.

The participants were requested to cooperate with police and administration in maintaining L&O/ drug menace in the area and in identifying anti-national/ social elements who always try to disrupt the peaceful environment. The basic building block of which remains cooperation with self and own area.

The public of Qazigund thanked SSP kulgam for visiting Qazigund and Police station Qazigund for conducting such a meeting and building a bridge of trust between police and public. Public of Qazigund requested for regular meetings in future as well.
