SSP Budgam held general darbar with jawans at DPL

BUDGAM, 28th APRIL: With an aim of “preparing officers & jawans physically & mentally to fight present wave of covid 19”, a general Darbar with officers & jawans of District Police Budgam was held by Shri Tahir Saleem-JKPS SSP Budgam at DPL Budgam on Wednesday.

Shri Amit Verma-JKPS Addl SP Budgam, Shri Ruhail Mircha-JKPS DySP DAR DPL Budgam, Shri Fayaz Hussain-JKPS Dy. SP Hqrs Budgam and other officers of District Police Budgam were also present during the Darbar interaction.

SSP Budgam in his address to the jawans asked them to effectively focus on their duties in order to nullify the nefarious designs of anti social and anti national elements.

He also stressed upon all officers and officials to gain public confidence and always be compassionate and helpful to the needy people.

He advised them to attend the genuine grievances of the people on priority.

He exhorted upon officers and jawans to keep doing good work with sincere efforts and be alert while performing duties.

He also appreciated the role of Budgam police for covid-19 pandemic containment.

On the occasion SSP Budgam stressed upon Officers/Officials to follow Covid-19 SOPs issued by the Government and asked them to be both physically and mentally prepared in view of second wave of COVID-19 pandemic and “to do whatever possible beyond the call of duty for the measures of containment of covid 19, besides countering any challenge or eventuality professionally.”

With regard to welfare measures of the officials, they were heard passionately and were assured that due care will be taken in this aspect too. Many grievances put forth by jawans were settled on the spot.
