SSP Budgam chairs officers meeting; Reviews crime status, ULAP cases, CCTNS, PRI’s management & SANJY preparations

BUDGAM: May 6, 2022: SSP Budgam Shri Tahir Saleem-JKPS chaired a meeting with All SDPOs/SHOs and Chowki officers of district Budgam and reviewed crime status, ULAP cases and their status, implementation of CCTNS, PRI’s management & preparedness of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY).

Addl.SP Budgam Shri Gowhar Ahmad-JKPS, DySP Headquarters Budgam Shri Naeem Wani-JKPS, Dy. SP PC Budgam Shri Aijaz MalikJKPS and Dy. SP PC Chadoora Shri Mohammad Anzar-JKPS also attended the meeting.

During the meeting, SSP Budgam sought reports from officers on their functioning and status of different tasks which were deliberated during previously held meetings.
SSP Budgam directed the officers to complete the pending crime cases and ensure smooth implementation of CCTNS project. He also sought present status of OGWs and their categorisation, movement pattern etc.

SSP Budgam stressed on making the strategies and plans to fight crime in more effective manner. He directed for effective PRI’s safety and management. He directed officers to review the progress of crime investigations regularly for better results.

With regard to the SANJY-2022 preparations, it was emphasised that all the arrangements for the deployment and distribution of manpower need to be synchronized at different levels for the smooth conduct of the SANJY in the stretch of Budgam District. He directed for providing best possible facilities for the jawans and officers deployed for the yatra. He directed for circulation of PCR Budgam helpline numbers of Budgam Police through every possible medium so that yatris could take note and ask for any assistance effortlessly if and when required.

The officers apprised the SSP Budgam regarding their requirements and also briefed about the measures formulated to enhance the efficiency on different policing fronts.
