SSP Awantipora distributes sewing machines under Civic Action Programme
Provides 02 dugouts at Sports Stadium Charligund

Awantipora 13 Sep: Police under the aegis of Civic Action Programme (CAP) organised 10 day tailoring course for women of economically weaker section (EWS) of Police District Awantipora and distributed sewing machines among them at DPL Awantipora after completion of basic trainig course at Welfare centre DPl Awantipora.
SSP Awantipora Shri Ajaz Ahmed Zargar-JKPS along with SP DAR Shri Hilal Khaliq Bhat-JKPS and SDPO Awantipora Shri Mumtaz Ali -JKPS distributed sewing machines among them.
SSP Awantipora while interacting with the beneficiaries assured them all possible support from Police department in order to make their lives easy and comfortable. He advised the Police officers and jawans to show empathy and kindness towards needy segment of the society and come forward with a helping hand.
He also asked the beneficiaries not to allow their social hindrances to come in their ways and to stay active in their lives in pursuit of their goals.
In furtherance to the same 02 portable dugouts were provided to sports stadium Charligund. The dugouts were installed under Civic Action Programme of J&K Police and inaugurated by SSP Awantipora accompanied with SP DAR and SDPO Awantipora and other officer for the sports activities.
