Srinagar Police books Notorious Drug Peddler under PSA

Acting tough against the menace of drug abuse and drug peddling, Srinagar Police is tightening the legal noose against the drug peddlers in the city.

In a statement issued , Srinagar Police has booked one notorious drug peddler, Gh Rasool Wani @ Raja Puj S/o Gh Nabi WaniR/o Meerakabad Shalimar Srinagar under the PUBLIC SAFETY ACT.

The peddler was actively involved in drug peddling in Shalimar- Zakoora- Harwan area and had remained involved in cases under the NDPS Act.

On December 19th, 2020, he has been lodged at Central Jail Kot Balwal under PSA Order No. DMS/PSA/150 Dated 15/12/2020.

It is pertinent to mention here that he is the second drug peddler from the Shalimar area to be booked under PSA in the recent past.

The general public of the area appreciated the strict action by Srinagar Police against the drug peddlers
