SOG cop injured in accidental fire in Sopore outskirts

Sopore, Dec 10: A SOG cop (Special Operation Group) sustained injuries after his service rifle went off accidentally in the outskirts of Sopore town in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

An official said a SOG man on election duty at Tujjer village in Sopore was injured when his service rifle went off accidentally.

Police sources confirmed that the injured cop was referred to Army Hospital in Srinagar after he suffered a bullet injury due to accidental fire and the condition of the injured is said to be stable.
