Snowfall: Residential house damaged in Bangidar Tral, GBYWC President demands relief

Tral, 7 Jan: A residential house has been damaged due to heavy snowfall in Aripal tehsil of Tral sub district in South Kashmir on Wednesday.

Sources said that a residential house belonging to Farooq Ahmad Gujjar, son of Chidiya Gujjar, resident of Bangidar village in Aripal Tral was damaged after heavy snowfall in the area.

They however said that no loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.

Reports said that soon after the incident, villagers rescued the family, which is a very poor.

Meanwhile, Jammu & Kashmir Gujjar Bakarwal Youth Welfare Conference (JKGBYWC) president, Zahid Parwaz Choudhary, talking to the Arising State, said that it’s very unfortunate that a residential house of a poor man damaged due to snowfall in Bangidar Tral.

He sought intervention of DC Pulwama, Dr. Raghav Langer, and demanded immediate relief and rehabilitation to the affected family.
