Six I/C Executive Engineers placed as I/C SEs

Srinagar:The State Government has placed six In-charge Executive Engineers (Civil) as In-charge Superintending Engineers (Civil) in their own pay and grade for a period of six months or till such vacancies are filled up, on regular basis, whichever is earlier. The placement of these engineers was recommended by the DPC/PSC.

An order to this effect was issued  vide Government Order No. 254 – PW(R&B) OF 2019 DATED 27.05.2019.

The order further reveals that the ‘arrangement shall not confer any preferential right upon the  Engineers for consideration for promotion as I/C Superintending Engineer (Civil), as and when, the same are considered on regular basis and shall be subject to the outcome of writ petition(s), if any before Hon’ble court of law.

Meanwhile ,the elevated I/C Superintending Engineers are Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Akhoon, Tanvir Mir, Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Rajan Mangi, Javid Iqbal Bukhari and Mufti Imran Shah.
