Six Accounts Officers Transferred in J&K Finance Department Reshuffle
In a significant administrative move, the Jammu and Kashmir Finance Department has ordered the transfer and posting of six Accounts Officers with immediate effect. The reshuffle, issued under Government Order No. 181-F of 2025 dated July 1, 2025, aims to streamline operations and strengthen administrative functioning across departments.
As per the order available with Arising State, the following shifts have been made:

Mr. Firdous Ahmad, Accounts Officer, currently awaiting adjustment in DGAT, has been transferred and posted as Accounts Officer, Sr. Superintendent of Police, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Jammu, replacing Mr. Vijay Kumar.

Ms. Monika Lahotra, Accounts Officer, Directorate of Audit & Inspections Jammu, is posted as Accounts Officer, Budget Division, Finance Department, vice Mr. Vishesh Kapoor.

Ms. Rohini Angral, Accounts Officer, Directorate of Command Area, Jammu, has been transferred to the Directorate of Audit & Inspections, Jammu, replacing Ms. Monika Parihar.

Ms. Aditi Sharma, Accounts Officer, Joint Director Funds Organisation, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as AO/Instructor at Northern Zonal Accountancy Training Institute, Jammu, vice Mr. Bodh Raj.

Mr. Waheed-ul-Rashid, AO/Revenue Officer, KPDCL Sopore, has been posted as Accounts Officer, Inspector General of Police, ZPHQ, Kashmir, relieving Mr. Shahnawaz Umer Khan of additional charge.

Ms. Yenbuerzal, Accounts Officer, Directorate of Sheep Husbandry, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Accounts Officer, Government Press Srinagar, vice Mr. Muneer Ahmad Munshi. She will assume charge after the expiry of her current leave.
The Finance Department stated that the changes have been made in the interest of administration to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
